Workbench Commands in Automation Anywhere

Introduction to Workbench

➤ Automating the task is important for your business to free resources for other tasks and make process time efficient.

➤ The most powerful feature of Automation Anywhere is Workbench.

➤ Workbench provides business process specialist and IT staff with all the tools necessary for Enhancing, Streamlining and Deploying automated processes.

➤ Non-technical business users can quickly build and deploy automated processes by using simple drag and drop operations.

➤ The Solution is flexible and robust enough for technical it staff to build more complex, Integrated and end to end processes.

➤ You can use the workbench to create automation to include Task bots and Meta bots and configure commands to create task bots and meta bots logic's.

➤ The components which helps in performing these are commands panel, Actions list, Actions Buttons, Error View tab, Variable Manager, Filters bar and Manage dependencies (Bot dependencies).

⌛ Command Panel:

✒ It contains all automation anywhere commands and you can drag and drop commands in to Action List Panel.Move and edit commands in bulk, if it is necessary.


⌛ Actions List:

✒ Opens and displays multiple task bots or meta bots logic at once. You can edit them side by side and making copy/paste and reuse jobs easier.It also makes building of larger tasks bots and meta bot logics easier by recording smaller processes and refining and combining them to large end to end complete process.

⌛ Actions Buttons:

✒ With actions buttons, you can create,run and save task bot or meta bot logics and it also enables debugging and setting snap points.

⌛ Error View tab

✒ It enables view to update itself as changes are made to the task and you can also track the progress of longer tasks and debugs them.

⌛ Variable Manager:

✒ It displays user-defined local variables and it adds, modifies and copy variables.

⌛ Filters:

✒ It manages time consuming tasks and helps in isolating problems and viewing specific commands.

⌛ Bot Dependencies:

✒ Automation Anywhere has capability to export dependent files doc,docx,xls,xlxs,csv,mvp,pkxm,exe,pdf,txt,jpg,png,pnp and xml.

✒ It uploads this files to the Control Room deploys while running the task bots.

✒ Ultimately making business processes more cost effective.
