A project manager wants to change the power settings of his system every day. Since this is a time-consuming process and a repetitive task, he wants to automate it.

➤ Solution:

This process involves a series of actions and therefore use the Smart Recorder.

➤ Process Step Flow

➢Open Control Panel➢Select System and Security➢Select Power options➢Select the required option.

➤ Benefits Of Using The Command

Smart Recorder has the inherent ability to identify keystroke actions such as ‘Shift + A’ as capital A. Also, special keystrokes such as ‘Tab’ and ‘Enter’ are saved as separate actions in the command.


➤ Use Smart Recorder:

To record tasks in Internet Explorer 8 and above only.
To navigate across controls, it is recommended that you use 'Click' action instead of 'TAB'.
