Use Cases of Files or Folders Command

First Use Case of Files or Folders Command

A Training manager receives the scores of the participants from the Trainers in a Zip format,
which needs to be uploaded in the company’s training portal. However, to upload the file,
he needs to first unzip the folder and rename the files batch-wise.

Solution:

You need to first unzip the folder and save the extracted file in a local folder and
then rename the file using the Files/Folder command.

Process Step Flow
-> Unzip the folder-> Save to the extracted file-> Rename the extracted file.

Note :
Use the Files/Folder command when you want to automate creating, opening, copying, moving, renaming, deleting, and
organizing files and folders.
In this case, we wanted to unzip the training score folder and rename the extracted training score file and therefore,
we used the Files Folder command.
Automating these tedious tasks can help organizations become more efficient and reduces human error.
